Game Designer and Engineer
Hello, I'm Ally Guo, a fourth-year Computer Science student at the University of Southern California with a minor in East Asian Languages and Cultures. As an artist and programmer, I'm interested in both the technical and creative aspects of game design and have extensive experience in programming/scripting (C++, C#, Lua, visual scripting), prototyping (paper and digitally), level editing in various game engines (Unity, Unreal Engine 5, proprietary), and designing and implementing a variety of systems and mechanics.
I've worked as an Encounter Design Intern (Summer 2024) and a Dungeon Design Intern (Summer 2023) for Diablo IV at Blizzard Entertainment. Additionally, I have contributed to several student games on large and small teams.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, making art, and writing. I've won several awards for my work and am currently working on a novel and short story collection.
